United Way of Indian River County

Who We Are

United Way brings our community together building partnerships, forging consensus and leveraging resources to focus on the building blocks for a better life: Education, Income, Health, and a safety net of support services. Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life, a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

Volunteers govern, provide direction and oversight, make funding decisions, sit on community committees, direct our fundraising campaign, and drive our annual events like Day of Caring and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. We invite you to be part of it.

Last year over 700 volunteers from the community helped further United Way's activities and goals.

What We Do

United Way of Indian River County is a locally governed and managed nonprofit organization consisting of 9 full-time staff and governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. We are one of 1300 locally run United Way affiliates in the country.
